AIMUN 2021 Conference Policies

APPLICATION INFORMATION

  • AIMUN 2021 accepts both Delegation and Individual applications. Each university should only apply as one Delegation, but there is no limit to the size of each Delegation. Each Delegation should have one Head Delegate who is expected to handle registration and follow-up matters.
  • AIMUN 2021 is also open to Individual Applications. Individual Delegates are only allowed to apply for committees with Single Delegation system. Additionally, if a school applies for AIMUN 2021 through Delegation application, we will not accept Individual applications from this school. We strongly suggest applicants to apply through the Delegation.
  • To apply for AIMUN 2021, the Head Delegate or Individual Delegate is required to create an account on AIMUN official registration portal (http://pkuaimun.com/) and complete the application via the account following the AIMUN 2021 Online Application Guide. Applicants other than the Head Delegate in a Delegation should not create accounts on their own.
  • The application and relevant payment of Observers and Faculty Advisors should be completed by the Head Delegate. Please refer to the Head Delegate for registration and confirmation.
  • The Head Delegate should complete and submit the application on behalf of all team members before 10 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8). Individual Delegates should submit the application before 3 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8). After the submission of application, confirmation notice and official group invitations will be displayed on the website. Please enter the WeChat group and Facebook group according to the instructions.
  • After registration, applicants can log onto the website to check for updates. To make any changes to previous applications, please submit a new one ASAP. We will directly take in the latest application submitted before the deadline.
  • Quota allocations and committee allocations will be distributed on the website on 15 February 2021. Information regarding the payment of conference fees will also be provided on the website. Please confirm and conduct the relevant payment.
  • All payments should be completed on or before 20 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8). For School Delegations, only conference fees paid in teams will be accepted (including all Delegates, Observers and Faculty Advisors). Any applicants that fails to complete all payment on time will be regarded as withdrawing the application by default.
  • After payment, please upload the proof of payment and confirmed list of participants to the website, with accordance to the payment instructions provided.
  • We will send out payment confirmation and WeChat group QR codes after receiving your payment and proof. Please check for the updates on website and scan the QR codes to enter the groups promptly.
  • After committee allocation, admitted Delegates should finish the Academic Test of their respective committees on time (the Test will be based on the topics of their committees). The test results will then serve as a crucial criterion for country allocation.
  • The AIMUN 2021 official website will keep updating major information regarding the conference during the registration period. Applicants are expected to log onto the website and check relevant information in time. Please also follow our official WeChat account (aimun_pku) and Facebook account (https://m.facebook.com/pkuaimun/) for notifications and conference-related information. The AIMUN Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any missing information due to the negligence of the Head Delegate or Individual Delegate.
  • Taking the number of applicants and the size of committees into consideration, the Secretariat reserves the right for final explanation for the results of admission and committee allocation.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Account Registration (10 Jan 2021 to 3/10 Feb 2021)

  • The Head Delegate is required to create an account for the School Delegation on the official website (http://pkuaimun.com/) within the specified time. The Individual Delegate should create an account on his/her own.

Submission of Application (10 Jan 2021 to 3/10 Feb 2021)

  • The Head Delegate should log onto the system, fill in the information of all team members accurately and submit the application form through the website before 10 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8). Individual Delegates should submit the application form through the website before 3 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8).
  • After registration, applicants can log onto the website to check for the updated status. Please join the WeChat groupchat for Head Delegates or Individual Delegates, and check relevant information in time to avoid missing important notifications.

Committee Allocation and Conference Fee (15 Feb 2021 to 20 Feb 2021)

  • Committee allocation will be distributed to the Head Delegate and Individual Delegate on the website on 15 February, 2021. Please confirm the information and make the payment accordingly.
  • For School Delegations, only conference fees paid in teams will be accepted. The Head Delegate is supposed to be in charge of the team payment and complete all payment. Individual Delegates should complete their own payments. Please upload your proof of payments and final list of Delegates according to the detailed instruction published on the website. The deadline for Individual Delegate and Head Delegate is 20 February 2021, 23:59 (GMT+8).
  • After receiving the payment, confirmation and WeChat group QR codes will be sent through the website. Please scan the QR codes to enter the relevant WeChat groups promptly.
  • If you have made your payments and have uploaded the proof, but have not received the confirmation after 20 February 2021, please contact us in time to avoid invalid payments.

Academic Test and country allocation (23 Feb 2021 to 12 Mar 2021)

  • Admitted Delegates are required to finish Academic Tests of respective committees. Each committee will announce their own Academic Test and announce deadlines independently.
  • Academic Test results will be taken into consideration in country allocation.
  • Country allocation will be released within committees. Please refer to the notifications of Dais of your own committee.
  • Delegates are not allowed to alter or exchange their country allocations.

AIMUN 2021 大会政策

报名注册须知

  • 本次大会接受个人报名团体报名。每所高校仅限一个代表团报名,代表团人数规模不作限制,每个代表团必须设有一名领队负责跟进沟通事宜。
  • AIMUN 2021 将同时接受个人报名,但是个人代表只能报名单代表制委员会。如果申请者所在学校将以代表团方式报名,申请者须加入代表团。大会将不受理来自该高校的其他个人报名。
  • 领队及个人代表需经大会官方网站报名渠道 (http://pkuaimun.com/) 注册账号,并按照《AIMUN 2021网上报名指南》准确填写全部代表团成员的信息或个人信息。代表团中的非领队代表不得自行创建账号。
  • 观察员与指导老师与代表同步进行报名,并且必须以代表团形式报名。如需报名观察员或指导老师,请同时由该校代表团领队于报名网站进行注册。
  • 代表团报名截止日期为2021年2月10日23:59(北京时间),个人代表报名截止日期为2021年2月3日23:59(北京时间)。领队及个人代表必须于截止日期前填写并提交所有报名信息。
  • 注册账号后,报名者可随时登入账号查看报名状态。如领队或个人代表需要更改任何报名信息,请尽快重新提交报名,我们将以截止日期之前最后提交的报名申请为准。
  • 录取结果及委员会分配结果将于2021年2月15日于网站平台中统一更新,网站信息将同时包括相关缴纳会费的通知,请确认后根据相关通知进行缴费。
  • 所有领队及个人代表代表团必须于在2021年2月20日23:59之前完成缴费。代表团会费必须团队形式缴纳,统一由领队负责支付(包括代表、观察员与指导老师)。如未能及时完成支付,默认为自动放弃参会资格。
  • 完成会费支付后,请根据网站缴费指引上传付款凭证及确认最终参会名单。
  • 大会确认收到付款及凭证后,将通过网站发送缴费确认,请查收确认通知以及相关的微信群二维码,并及时扫码入群。
  • 委员会分配环节结束后,代表需在规定期限内完成本委员会的学术测试(测试内容将基于代表所在委员会的议题)。代表的学术测试结果将作为各委员会国家席位分配的重要参考。
  • 代表报名注册期间,主要信息更新将由官方网站平台发布,请及时登入平台查看信息。同时,关于本次大会的各项信息通知及联络工作,请关注微信官方公众号平台的消息推送,并注意查收邮件及登陆官方网站查看报名状态更新。对于领队或个人原因造成的信息缺失,组委会概不负责。
  • 考虑报名人数和委员会规模,秘书处对代表录取和委员会分配结果拥有最终解释权

报名注册流程

网站平台注册(2021年1月10日至2021年2月3/10日)

  • 申请者需要在大会官方网站报名渠道 (http://pkuaimun.com/) 注册账号,并应仔细阅读会议相关信息。代表团领队需在规定时间内于官方网站上为学校代表团统一注册账号。

提交报名申请(2021年1月10日至2021年2月3/10日)

  • 个人代表需在2021年2月3日23:59前填写报名信息并提交,代表团领队需在2021年2月10日23:59前填写填写代表团所有成员的报名信息。
  • 报名成功后,可以登录官方网站查看状态,并加入领队微信群或个人代表微信群。敬请随时留意状态更新,避免错过重要信息及公告。

委员会分配及缴费事宜(2021年2月15日至 2021年2月20日)

  • 席位分配结果将于2021年2月15日于网站平台中统一发放,请及时进行确认,并根据所获分配的席位数量进行缴费。
  • 代表团会费以团队形式缴纳,统一由领队负责,大会不接受任何代表团成员以个人形式进行会费支付;个人代表会费请自行缴纳。请按照网站平台中的缴费步骤,在2021年2月20日23:59之前完成代表团所有成员的缴费,并根据网站内公布的指引,上传缴费凭证及参会名单。
  • 组委会确认收费后,网站将显示缴费确认,确认信息将同时包括微信群二维码,请及时扫码入群。
  • 如领队或个人代表已成功缴费并上传合规的缴费凭证,但于2021年2月20日之后仍未收到缴费确认通知,请及时与我们取得联系。

学术测试与国家分配(2021年2月23日至2021年 3月12日)

  • 代表需完成所在委员会拟定的学术测试。各委员会将自行设置测试内容与截止日期。
  • 国家分配将考虑代表的学术测试结果。
  • 国家分配结果将于委员会内部进行公布,具体详情请参考委员会主席的通知。
  • 国家分配结果将不接受更改或自行调整。
